Inductions

Do I have to attend an induction before I train?

Inductions are not mandatory at PureGym, but if you're unsure simply speak to one of the gym team who will be happy to show you the equipment.

Can someone show me how to use the equipment?

Yes, as a member you can book a free 30-minute Get Started session via the PureGym app and our team will show you how to use the different machines.

Facilities

Does my gym have a swimming pool, sauna, steam room or spa?

No. We’ve cut unnecessary features so we can offer our members high quality fitness facilities and equipment at an affordable price.

Are there changing facilities and lockers?

All our gyms have individual showers, changing areas and free lockers - just remember to bring your own padlock.

Don't worry if you forget to bring your own padlock, they are available (to purchase) from our vending machines inside the gym.

We also supply hairdryers and plug sockets for your own appliances.

In our gyms that are open 24/7, the changing rooms are closed between 3:00am and 5:00am. During this time, there’ll still be lockers, and toilet and shower facilities available at the accessible rooms on the gym floor.

Can I store my belongings in the lockers overnight?

Our lockers are only to be used while you’re in the gym. Our team check and empty all lockers at night and move any contents into lost property. If they damage your padlock to access the locker, we won’t be able to replace it.

Do you offer towels?

We don't provide complimentary towels, so you'll need to bring a towel with you each time you visit. Alternatively, you can buy one at our vending machines.

Is there free WiFi in the gym?

Yes. Simply select our network when you're in the gym. Once connected, open a browser on your device and follow the instructions to log in.

Can I park for free?

All our gyms offer free parking, but local restrictions may apply. Check the car park rules at your gym when you arrive.

Fitness Classes

Are classes included in my membership?

Yes, all our instructor-led and in-gym virtual classes are included in your membership. Classes vary by gym, so check your Dashboard to view the latest timetable.

How do I book a class?

To book a class, log in to your Dashboard or use the free PureGym app.

What happens if I miss a class?

If you need to cancel a class, it's quick and easy via the Dashboard. Simply select "Cancel" on your booked class. You must cancel your class at least 4 hours before it starts or this will be recorded as a non-attendance.

Personal Training

Is personal training available?

Yes. Our Personal Trainers are always available to discuss one-to-one training sessions and can create a personalised fitness programme just for you. Find out more here.

How much does a personal trainer cost?

The cost of a personal trainer is not included in your PureGym membership. Please speak to a member of the PureGym team to discuss prices.

How do I book a personal trainer?

All our personal trainers work exclusively with us. You can find a personal trainer at your PureGym here.

Health & Safety

Can I visit with other people?

It's okay to exercise with another person.

How clean are your gyms?

Our team clean all the equipment and surfaces throughout the day, from dumbbells to treadmills and everything in between, so you can train with confidence.​

In addition, our gyms are deep cleaned every day with a high-grade anti-viral disinfectant, to ensure the highest level of cleanliness for our members.​
